Local produce

Beautiful produce from every corner of our wonderful Island we call home

Looking to our past to secure our future

Locally grown food creates important economic opportunities, provides health benefits and helps to reduce environmental impact... and not to mention it tastes amazing! We are incredibly fortunate to live on such a plentiful Island with a long standing farming history. Here at Homefields we want to make sure this carries on for future generations to enjoy not just our own.

Getting personal

While there are many reasons to eat locally grown food, freshness is probably one of the top. Its short transit time from farm to plate allows the food to incur less spoilage and lose fewer nutrients. Eating and supporting independent growers also allows better traceability of your food from the farmer who grew it as well as all the other people who helped it on its journey to you.

Keep up to date with whats in season by downloading our local produce chart. Everything listed is available from Homefields.

Growing connections

With over 50 years experience within the local farming community we have a pretty good contact book of local suppliers and producers. The list is forever growing but you can get a good idea of who we deal with from the list below.

We are always looking to add people to our list so please get in touch if you are a local grower and want to sell your produce.
